In this dynamic, hands-on role, you’ll provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in the comfort of a child’s home. This role requires experience handling aggressive and challenging behaviors in children. Imagine being the person who helps a child master essential skills like communication, socialization, and behavior management. What You’ll Do

• Help children on the autism spectrum develop key life skills through personalized ABA therapy, specifically focusing on managing aggressive and challenging behaviors.
• Use fun, creative, and positive reinforcement techniques to foster progress, including strategies for de-escalating challenging behaviors when they arise.
• Collaborate with families to ensure continuity of care, especially in addressing and modifying aggressive behaviors, and tailor strategies to meet each child’s unique needs.
• Monitor progress and share valuable insights with a caring team led by a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst), especially in relation to the management of aggressive and challenging behaviors.
• Implement strategies to improve the child’s behavioral skills, ensuring a safe and positive environment for both the child and others.

What We’re Looking For

• A passion for working with children and a desire to make a difference, particularly in managing challenging and aggressive behaviors.
• Previous experience in working with kids or a background in behavioral therapy is a plus (but not required).
• Experience or willingness to work with children exhibiting aggressive and challenging behaviors.
• Strong communication skills to connect with children and families, especially in times of behavioral escalation.
• A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to care, particularly when managing difficult behaviors.
• A high school diploma.
